I would definetily reccommend sticking to the ones that are reviewed here. Many cheaper XBox repair manual's are created by people looking to take money from XBox owners that are desperate to fix their XBox 360. They either will have owners doing thing's that should never be done with any game console, or they will have your unning in circles, causing more harm than good.
Most of the good XBox repair manuals wont cost too much. The creators of the good ones really just want to help fellow XBox owners fix problems without going through the hassle of sending them off or going to some guy at a repair shop that probably doesnt even own an XBox.
